Bromley v FC Halifax Town preview

After Wednesday night’s disappointing defeat Bromley are back in National League action on Saturday afternoon when they take on FC Halifax Town at Hayes Lane.

The Ravens lost 2-0 at home to Woking in midweek, conceding twice in the second half, a defeat that left Andy Woodman’s side in tenth place with twenty five points from eighteen league matches.

Bromley are without a win in seven games now and Woodman voiced in frustration post match, hinting that they may look to go for a more direct and rugged approach in the upcoming fixtures.

Halifax Town have seen an upturn in results lately, which has coincided with striker Manny Dieseruvwe hitting form. Chris Millington’s team are now seventeenth in the table with twenty one points from seventeen games, on Tuesday night they won 1-0 at Solihull Moors thanks to a first half goal from Jamie Cooke.

Although they did exit the FA Cup last Saturday losing to 2-1 away to National League South leaders Ebbsfleet Utd.

When the sides met at Hayes Lane last October the game ended 0-0, while reverse fixture saw The Shaymen win 1-0 in March courtesy of a Luke Summerfield goal.

This match looks set to be equally as close with Bromley desperate to turn things around and Halifax looking to continue their league revival.

The club will be launching its’ new fan designed green third kit on Saturday, which contains a nod in the design to local music star David Bowie and there will be a performance from The David Bowie Experience in The Broomfields Bar & Kitchen after the match.

Match Tickets are available from the official club website in advance at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £7 for Under 16s, Under 11s free with a paying adult.

Prices increase by £2 on the match day and home fans can now pay on the gate.

There is also a printed programme available at the match for £3.00.
