A quick rearrangement of the fixture due to the current state of the pitch at The Shay sees Bromley now host Halifax at Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon in the National League.
Neil Smith’s side go into the game having played just once this year, a penalty shoot out loss to Woking in the FA Trophy on Tuesday night following a 1-1 draw.
The Ravens currently sit tenth in the table with 22points from 14 games played, while Halifax sit in sixth with 23 points from 17 league matches.
The Shaymen lost 2-1 at home to National League North side Southport on Tuesday, in their only league fixture played this year Halifax drew 1-1 away at Kings Lynn Town.
After a difficult first couple of months of the league season Pete Wild’s side went in a good run in December and were in fine form prior to their campaign being interrupted by postponements.
Bromley have boosted their squad recently in signing forwards Courtney Duffus and Charlie Wakefield, while striker Michael Cheek and Keeper Mark Cousins have extended their deals.
The sides only met once last season prior to the premature ending, Halifax winning 2-1 at The Shay with goals from Devante Rodney and Neil Maher in February.
With both sides happy to be playing again and looking to push on in in their bid for the play offs, this looks set to be a close and entertaining encounter.
