Bromley are back on National League action on Tuesday night against another former Football League side as they entertain promotion chasing Grimsby Town at Hayes Lane.
The Mariners travel down from Cleethorpes in a good run of form, sitting in third unbeaten in eight league games and having defeated Weston Super Mare in the FA Trophy on Saturday they will be looking to continue their challenge at the top of the table.
The Ravens had the weekend off, but did play Greenwich Borough in a friendly, and having picked up five points from the previous three games Mark Goldberg will hope to extend the unbeaten run as he targets a top ten finish to their debut season at this level.
Bromley could still be without Pierre Joseph-Dubois, Louis Dennis, Ben May and Max Porter, but top scorer Moses Emmanuel’s seemingly immanent move to a football league side has not yet gone through and he should be available.
With a large following from Grimsby expected there should be another good crowd at The Lane for a prestigious match in an amazing week for The Ravens with Tranmere Rovers also visiting BR2 for the first time on Saturday.
Remarkable given that just over a decade ago when Bromley were struggling in Ryman League Division One South their next two opponents were in the Championship.
