Bromley v FC Halifax Town preview

After two big away trips Bromley return to action at Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon when they entertain Halifax Town in the National League.

The Ravens recorded two impressive wins on the road scoring four goals on both occasions at Blyth Spartans in the Trophy and Torquay United in the league. Manager Neil Smith has targeted another big performance at home to show the fans unable to travel what they have been missing.

Bromley are now in the last sixteen of the Trophy and sitting eighth in the table just one place below the play off spots with 47 points from 30 games.

There was good news this week on the personnel front with Luke Woolfenden extending his loan from Ipswich Town, the young right back has been in impressive form for the club since joining in December.

Halifax make the trip down from Yorkshire having had a week off due to postponements, in their last outing they lost 4-1 to Maidenhead Utd in the Trophy.

The Shaymen occupy seventeenth place in the league, having picked up 34 points from 29 games so far in their first season back at this level following promotion via the play offs from the National League North.

When the two sides met at The Shay in September Halifax came out on top 2-1.

This fixture should see another good crowd at Hayes Lane with the home side in good form and challenging on three fronts, while Halifax will be looking to ease their way away from the bottom four and consolidate in their first campaign back.
