Bromley take on relegation strugglers Farnborough in the Conference South at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night with both sides desperate for points in their respective battles at the top and bottom of the table.
The game is given added spice with three of Farnborough’s forward line both having played for Bromley in recent times, Louis Theophanous had a spell with The Ravens in 2013, former Gillingham winger Harry Grant started the season at Bromley and Jordan Robertson was only released by Mark Goldberg last month after joining in September.
Former Football League striker Robertson had a disappointing time at Bromley following a good start and will be keen to prove the management wrong as will Grant who lost his starting place on the left to Louis Dennis.
Bromley have picked up four points from their first three games in March with the gap between themselves and Boreham Wood down to a point it will be vital for The Ravens to make their games in hand count.
Things haven’t been helped by an extensive injury list including long term absentees Pierre Joseph-Dubois, Anthony Cook and Ben May, although they were boosted by the return of captain Rob Swaine on Saturday after a three match ban and the recall of Mitchell Pinnock from his loan deal at Tonbridge Angels.
Farnborough, who sit second from bottom, are without a win in three games and suffered a potentially huge defeat at the hands of Hayes & Yeading on Saturday with the gap between them and safety now six points. Tuesday is also a game in hand for Borough which they need to take advantage of.
Bromley won the away fixture 2-1 back in September and a similar win tomorrow night would be more than welcome in their bid to reach the top flight of non-league football for the first time.
