Twenty four hours after their National League trip to Weymouth, Bromley are in Kent Senior Cup second round action tonight when they entertain Ebbsfleet United at Hayes Lane.
Andy Woodman’s side suffered a frustrating day on Saturday having travelled up to Kings Lynn Town to be informed the game was postponed at 1.40pm due to a waterlogged pitch.
Last night Bromley did get to play, drawing 2-2 away at Weymouth, Connor Parsons and Michael Cheek scoring equaling goals after The Ravens had twice gone behind. The point leaves Bromley seventh with 51 points from 28 league games.
The Ravens are expected to field a mixture of squad players in need of game time and Under 23s, with no first team fixture scheduled until 5th March.
Ebbsfleet make the short trip over from Gravesend sitting fifth in the National League South with 44 points from 26 league matches. On Saturday they lost 4-2 away at Havant & Waterlooville, their third defeat in the last five games for Dennis Kutrieb’s side.
Among The Fleet squad are former Bromley players Adam Mekki & Tobi Adebayo-Rowling, while Bromley also contain a number of ex-Fleet stars including Michael Cheek & Luke Coulson.
The sides met at Hayes Lane in July 2021 for a pre-season friendly with Bromley recording a 4-0 victory.
The winners of the tie will face Folkestone Invicta away in the quarter finals.
Tickets are £10 for adults & £7.50 for concessions, with Under 16s going free if accompanied by an adult or OAP. These must be purchased in advance via the official Bromley FC website. Kick off is 7:45pm
