Bromley are back in National League action again on Saturday when they entertain Eastleigh at Hayes Lane.
The Ravens go into the game on the back of a 4-1 loss at Dagenham and Redbridge on BankHoliday Monday, a result not helped by the absence of all three usual starting centre backs with Byron Webster injured, Omar Sowunmi unavailable and Chris Bush suspended.
The defeat left Andy Woodman’s team in ninth with ten points from six matches.
Eastleigh make the trip up from Hampshire sitting in eighth place with the same points tally, but a marginally better goal difference.
On Monday The Spitfires lost 3-1 at Barnet. Like Bromley their first defeat since the opening day of the season, Lee Bradbury’s team also having made a solid start to their campaign.
When the teams met at Hayes Lane last season The Ravens won 3-0 with goals from James Alabi, Michael Cheek and Corey Whitely and they completed the double in April winning 2-0 at The Silverlake with goals from Billy Bingham and James Vennings.
With both teams looking to get back to winning ways and keep in touch with the top seven this is set to be an entertaining, close fought game between two good sides.
