Following on from Saturday’s incredible 4-3 win over leaders Chesterfield, Bromley are back in National League action on Tuesday night when they take on Dagenham & Redbridge at Hayes Lane.
The Ravens maintained their second place in the table with a dramatic injury time win over the runaway leaders, Michael Cheek notching a hatrick and Sam Woods scoring the 93rd minute winner in front of nearly 4,000 fans at Hayes Lane last Saturday.
Andy Woodman’s team have now amassed 61 points from 33 league games, twenty points behind Chesterfield and two in front of Barnet in third, but more importantly eight ahead of Solihull Moors in fourth.
Dagenham & Redbridge make the journey across London sitting in eleventh place with 41 points from 34 league matches, last Saturday The Daggers drew 1-1 away at York City, Jake Hessenthaler giving Ben Strevens’ side an early lead before York levelled just before half time.
Among The Daggers squad is former Raven midfielder Josh Rees, who had two good spells at Hayes Lane, appearing in the 2018 FA Trophy final for Bromley.
In the reverse fixture at Victoria Road back in September, Bromley won 1-0 courtesy of a Corey Whitely goal on the hour and this game looks set to be equally as close with The Daggers hoping to move up towards the top seven and The Ravens looking to maintain second place and build on their first league win of 2024.
