Bromley play their last pre-season game on Saturday lunch time before the National League kicks off next weekend when they entertain a Charlton Athletic XI at Hayes Lane.
The Ravens suffered their first defeat of their build up matches on Tuesday night losing 3-1 at Dartford, with Neil Smith giving game time to several youngsters and some trialists still looking to be signed up for the new campaign. Bromley’s only goal coming from Jack Holland in the first half.
For at least one half of the game on Saturday Bromley fans will be hoping to see the line up more than likely to start the new season at Chorley in a weeks time, with the strikers slot looking to be the most up in the air at this stage.
Bromley met Charlton’s Under 23s in the Kent Senior Cup earlier this year winning 3-1, Reeco Fairchild-Hackett playing for The Addicks that night, before joining Bromley on loan and then signing permanently this summer.
The game kicks off at 12.30pm to allow Charlton fans to attend The Addicks home match V Aston Villa for Chris Solly’s Testimonial at The Valley later in the afternoon.
