Following on from back to back defeats in League Two, Bromley direct their attention to the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night when they take on League One Cambridge Utd at Hayes Lane in the opening Southern Group C match.
Manager Andy Woodman has said he will field a strong team for the game, with a number of players knocking on his door asking for an opportunity to play.
On Saturday The Ravens lost 2-1 at home to Crewe Alexandra, conceding twice in the last seven minutes having led through an early Lewis Leigh goal.
Bromley brought in two loan signings on transfer deadline day with striker Josh Thomas joining from Swansea City and midfielder Ben Thompson coming in from Stevenage. Thompson coming off the bench to make his debut against Crewe.
Cambridge make the journey down sitting 23rd in League One with one point from their opening four games, having also been knocked out of the League Cup by QPR.
On Saturday Gary Monk’s men lost 2-0 at Bristol Rovers and will be hoping to pick up their first win of the campaign asap.
The sides met in Pre-Season, during a training camp in Portugal, with the first game ending 2-2 and the second 2-0 to Bromley.
The EFL Trophy Southern Group C also contains Chelsea Under 21s and Charlton Athletic, with teams playing each other once.
The club are charging full price for the game, despite many other teams choosing to discount tickets for the competition, it will be interesting to see how the Bromley fans respond and what the attendance is.
Tickets are £20 for adults, £15 for OAPs, £7 for Under 18s and £5 for under 12s. Prices increase at midnight the day before the game.
Kick off is at 7:45pm.
