After losing their first game in seven at the weekend, Bromley will be looking to pick themselves up and get another run going when they entertain Braintree Town in the National League at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night.
The Iron travel down from Essex having secured three points on Saturday with a 2-1 home win over Dover Athletic, returning manager Hakan Hayrettin overseeing the club’s second league win of the season, which saw them over take Dover and move on to ten points from seventeen games.
The Ravens 2-1 loss at Boreham Wood saw them drop to fifteenth spot, with twenty points from seventeen played. Manager Neil Smith was disappointed that his side didn’t take a point from the game at Meadow Park though and said they would be looking for a response from his squad on Tuesday.
New signing Joe Quigley made his debit from the bench and with Smith’s squad now nearly all back to fitness he certainly isn’t short of options in almost every position should he wish to change things up.
Braintree were promoted via the play offs last season from National League South, but have found the going tough back at this level so far, which saw the club make the decision to bring back Hayrettin to replace Bradley Quinton as manager. They are currently only four points off fifth from bottom, so there is still plenty of time to turn things round and build on their win at the weekend.
Games between The Ravens and The Iron are usually tight and hard fought, this one should be no exception as both look to end the month with a win.
