Bromley v Barnet preview
Bromley v Barnet preview

Bromley return to National League action at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night when they entertain Barnet.

The Ravens go into the game sitting in sixth place with twenty four points from fourteen league games. On Saturday Andy Woodman’s team lost an ill tempered match 3-2 at Chesterfield, former Barnet striker Adam Marriott netting both goals for Bromley, but they just couldn’t find an equaliser late on. Bromley haven’t lost at home in the league all season, only conceding twice.

Barnet won 2-1 at home to Maidenhead Utd at The Hive on Saturday, a win that took them up to tenth in the table with twenty points from fourteen National League matches. Nicke Kabamba & Marvin Armstrong with the goals for Dean Brennan’s team, The Bees sixth win of the season.

In an unusual coincidence both Woodman & Brennan were sent off from the dug outs in their respctive games at the weekend, but more disappointingly for Bromley centre back Omar Sowunmi also saw red and will miss this game.

When the sides met last season, Bromley completed the double over the North Londoners with a 2-0 home win at Hayes Lane in September thanks to goals from Michael Cheek & Chris Bush, and a 4-2 win at The Hive in May with goals from Louis Dennis, Mason Bloomfield, Ali Al Hamadi & Cheek.

Daniel Powell & Ben Richards-Everton on the mark for Barnet that afternoon.

This looks set to be a close fought encounter between two good teams, with both sides eyeing the play off spots.

Tickets are available from the official club website in advance at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £7 for Under 16s, Under 11s free with a paying adult. Prices increase by £2 on the match day and home fans can now pay on the gate. There is also a printed programme available at the match for £3.00.

Kick off is at 7:45pm.
