Fresh from their win on Saturday, Bromley return to National League action again on Tuesday night when they entertain Aldershot Town at Hayes Lane looking to keep up the pressure on the top two.
The Ravens defeated AFC Fylde 1-0 at the weekend thanks to a second half goal from Josh Passley in front of a very good crowd of over 2,500.
The win took Andy Woodman’s side back up to third in the table with 39 points from 20 league games, a huge result given the teams around them dropped points.
Bromley are now just three points behind Barnet and eight off leaders Chesterfield. With Chin Okoli injured, Callum Reynolds returned to the starting eleven at centre back and James Vennings started in midfeld, both impressing the manager with their performances.
Aldershot Town make the journey up from Hampshire sitting in eighth place with 30 points from 20 matches played under manager Tommy Widdrington, one point off the top seven.
The Shots lost 2-1 at Rochdale on Saturday, Jack Barnham having put them in front in the first half before they conceded one either side of half time.
Aldershot’s leading striker Joshua Stokes had registered nine so far this campaign, while Michael Cheek has seven thus far for Bromley with other players chipping in more than in recent seasons.
When the team met at Hayes Lane in January the game ended 2-2 with Cheek scoring both equalisers for Bromley after Aldershot had taken the lead through Jake Hutchinson and an own goal.
This game looks set to be equally as tight with two teams in decent form both looking to cement their place in the play off places as we head towards the halfway mark for the season.
