Bromley’s FA Trophy fourth round game with Woking scheduled for Saturday has been put back to Tuesday 19th January to comply with Covid 19 protocols after a positive case at the Surrey club.
The Ravens have seen their previous four National League fixtures postponed for similar reasons, and this cancellation will see Neil Smith’s side go nearly a month without a match.
The knock on effect being that the home game with Sutton Utd originally set for Tuesday will now have to be re-scheduled.
Their last outing was a 2-0 home win in the FA Trophy against Hemel Hempstead Town on Tuesday 22 December 2020.
The busy festive period of games was shelved after a positive case in the Bromley camp and then Chesterfield had to pull out of last weekend’s game following a case in their squad.
The Ravens currently sit ninth in the table having picked up 22 points from 14 league games played and with trophy commitments also, even if they escape any further postponements, they face a hectic schedule to try and complete a full National League season by the end of May.
