To coincide with Children’s Mental Health week, Bromley FC have launched an all new welfare section on their Community Website, with First Team Players and Management heavily involved, discussing Mental Health topics and sending messages of positivity to those who are struggling.
Jack Holland, Joe Kizzi and Byron Webster spoke about how important it is to talk about our feelings, as well as the importance of a healthy mind.
During the week, Bromley will be sharing positivity across Club and Community Social channels, as well as some content to engage youngsters and give them a much needed lift at this time.
This coincides with Bromley FC’s ‘Wear a Smile’ initiative, which will sit hand in hand with the theme of Children’s Mental Health Week, which is ‘Express yourself’.
Recently, the Club took part in the Kent FA’s campaign to appoint a ‘Mental Health Champion’. Head of Academy Operations Sue Whittaker, who undertook the relevant training programme earlier this year, will continue the Club’s efforts in maintaining and improving the level of welfare support afforded to our young participants and players.
