Having led 3-0 at half time, Bromley just held on to progress through to the FA Cup First Round on Saturday conceding twice in the second half and having goalkeeper Grant Smith to thank for some vital saves late on.
Andy Woodman rang the changes for the cup tie, giving Alex Kirk his debut at centre back and bringing back Besart Topalloj to play the other side of Byron Webster in the usual 5-3-2 formation.
Wealdstone started the game looking to attack and put Bromley under pressure, but it was on the seventh minute when Smith saved from Tarryn Allarakhia.
From that the Ravens broke up field and opened the scoring when Olufela Olomola had a shot saved by Jed Ward for a corner and from the resulting dead ball Kirk headed home for 1-0.
Ten minutes later it was 2-0 when a low Josh Passley cross from the right found Michael Cheek who side footed home from six yards despite the best efforts of Ward to keep the ball out.
Olomola fired just over soon after, but a minute after the half hour Bromley did make it 3-0, when Olomola played a cross field ball, which Cheek dummied to Ben Krauhaus and the young midfielder ran clear before coolly slotting the ball past Ward from the edge of the area.
The Ravens dominated the latter stages of the half with Wealdstone trying to stick to their passing and possession based game, but just not being able to make it work for them.
The second half was a very different story, The Stones pressed from the off, Thavon Campbell shot narrowly wide before they pulled it back to 3-1 on 53 minutes when a scramble in the box eventually saw the ball come to Max Kretzschmar who blasted the ball into the roof of net.
Corey Whitely went close for Bromley, but it was the visitors who dominated things on the whole.
Charlie Barker headed over from corner and Jaydn Mundle-Smith had a powerful shot from a tight angle tipped over by Smith. Abdulsabur Abdulmalik then fired just wide and Smith then denied Ferguson as The Stones continued to press.
Bromley went from playing free flowing dominant football in the first half, to being unable to get out of their half in the second period and just couldn’t get going, Woodman choosing to take off Olomola for Jame Vennings to shore up the midfield.
After a long spell of pressure and hitting the side netting, Wealdstone pulled things back to 3-2 on 92minutes when Nathan Ferguson beat Smith with a low powerful drive from ten yards out to set the home fans’ nerves jangling.
Deep into the six minutes of injury time another scramble in the Bromley area eventually ended with Sam Brown shooting just over and The Ravens held on to secure a place in Sunday’s draw.
Bromley wait for the draw and prepare for the visit of Oxford City to Hayes Lane in the National League next weekend.
