A fine second half display from The Ravens after conceding early on was enough to win this game and maintain their very creditable tenth place in The National League.
The first half offered very little in the way of goalmouth incident, Luke Wanadio fired wide early on and Frankie Raymond volleyed wide latching on to a George Porter long throw for Bromley while Dagenham went close via Charlee Adams Luke Howell.
Late in the half there were a couple of heavy challenges with Alan Dunne booked for Bromley and Adams seeing yellow for the Daggers.
The second half saw both teams come out looking more positive and the visitors took the lead on 54 minutes when Howell twisted and turned on the edge of the box before hitting the ball low into the corner for 0-1.
The Ravens then woke up and started to put The Daggers under pressure, Wanadio, Omar Bugeil and Porter all had efforts blocked before Bromley drew level on 58 minutes.
A corner from the right was headed towards goal by Jordan Higgs and nodded over the line by Jack Holland. With the scores level Neil Smith then went with two up front and took the attacking initiative bringing on Brandon Hanlan. Wanadio, who was a constant threat down the left, had two efforts saved by Mark Cousins as The Ravens pressed, Sutherland had an effort saved, Roger Johnson hit the post and Bugeil saw his effort turned round the post by Cousins.
From the resulting corner Bromley finally took the lead, Holland heading powerfully home into the roof of the net despite the best efforts of Cousins who got both hands to it.
The Ravens continued to dominate the play and they were awarded a penalty when Porter was pushed in the box by Craig Robson. Hanlan stepped up to take the spot kick, but Cousins saved well diving to his right.
Higgs headed a corner wide soon after and Hanlan looked to have been brought down for another penalty, but the appeals were waved away. Adams went close on a rare break for The Daggers, but Bromley still had the best of things and they increased their lead injury time when a spell of pressure around the box eventually saw the ball come to Raymond who fired home from the edge of the box.
Bromley entertain fifth placed Boreham Wood on Saturday looking to end the season on a good run of form going into the FA Trophy final.
