Bromley showed what progress they have made since last season with this solid display and victory over a strong Staines side at a wet Hayes Lane.
The Ravens got off to a positive start with Brendan Kiernan firing just over, Bradley Goldberg forcing a save from Kyle Merson and Jack Holland shooting wide.
The game evened out after the early stages and Staines also created chances with Stephane Nganvoulou denied by Lewis Carey in the home goal, Louie Theophanous having a shot cleared off the line, Jerel ifill shooting wide and Carey saving from Huw Johnson.
Late in the half Pierre Joseph-Dubois had a good effort saved by Merson to keep it scoreless at half time.
Bromley stared the second half well Goldberg was thwarted by a brave challenge from Merson when well placed, before the home side took the lead on 57 minutes when Kiernan crossed for Jay May who headed against the bar only for Ashley Nicholls to convert the rebound in style.
Kiernan hit the post soon after, before setting Goldberg up to make it 2-0 on 66 minutes with a smart finish.
As the game opened up Dubois went close for Bromley and Theophanous shot just wide for the visitors, but any late worries were dispelled on 89 minutes when Dubois showed great footwork in the box before a sweet finish past Merson to make it 3-0.
This was a fine win over a side that Bromley have often struggled against over the years and a testament to the fine work Mark Goldberg & Co. have done this summer.
