Bromley maintained their winning home run and secured top spot with an impressive first half demolition of an under par Farnborough side.
The visitors started well penning Bromley back with Scott Donnolly having a good free kick saved by Joe Welch. Against the run of play Bromley took the lead on 15 minutes when Brendan Kiernan’s curling shot across goal avoided everyone and crept in at the far post.
The Ravens were handed a further advantage two minutes later when Adam Doyle received a straight red card for an awful two footed lunch on Ashley Nicholls.
Almost immediately Dan Bennett launched a similar challenge on Nicholls, but was lucky only to see yellow. After Pierre Joseph-Dubois had been denied by Kevin Scriven the home side went 2-0 up on 28 minutes when Jay May broke free and volleyed home from just inside the box.
Bromley made it 3-0 on 41 minutes when Dubois’ header was well saved by Scrived only for Alan Inns to head the ball into his own net when trying to clear. Joe Anderson was then denied by Scriven as Bromley finished strong.
The second half saw Farnborough start with a new Keeper in veteran custodian Mat Lovett and they looked better for it.
Bromley started on top May, Danny Waldren & Dubois were denied by Lovett before the visitors had their best effort of the match when Donnolly forced a good save from Welch.
Former Leeds & Southend winger Ryan Hall made a return for the home side to a warm reception just after the hour and showed some very nice touches.
Bradley Goldberg was denied by Lovett, May headed over and Rob Swaine hit the bar with a powerful header as The Ravens went on to dominate, but fail to add to the score line, but still get another three points.
