Bromley finished off their debut League Two season with a comfortable three goal victory over Cheltenham Town at Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon thanks to two more goals from Michael Cheek and one from Nicke Kabamba.

Bromley started with two up front in a 5-3-2 formation and the game got off to a positive start for The Ravens with Corey Whitely having a deflected shot saved by Joe Day.
Cheltenham then came back into things, Ashley Hay caught Grant Smith in possession, but chose to dive in the box rather than pursue the loose ball.
Omar Sowunmi put a chance wide soon after, before play was held up when Ben Thompson and Tommy Blackwell clashed heads challenging for a header in the middle of the pitch.
From the restart the ball came to Nicke Kabamba who was pushed just inside the area and Referee Steve Parkinson pointed to the spot. Cheek tucked away the penalty with a powerful strike that Day did get a hand to, but couldn’t stop.
Bromley had a good spell of pressure from there, but The Robins did pose a threat down the right through Arkell Jude-Boyd.
As the game headed towards half time Cheltenham pressed for an equaliser, but Bromley dug in and struck on the break, winning a corner which Kabamba converted in a goal mouth scramble from close range for his second goal in two games.

The second half started with The Ravens on top again, but The Robins went close when Liam Dulson’s long range drive was tipped over by Grant Smith.
The game was finished as a competition on 53 minutes when Danny Imray and Cameron Congreve combined down the left and set up Cheek who bundled the ball home from close range for 3-0, scoring his 25th goal of the season.
Both teams made changes on the hour mark and Cheltenham came into things with Ethon Archer hitting the post with a curling effort from 20 yards and Jordan Thomas shooting just wide from a free kick.
After a quiet spell, The Robins rallied in again, Marry Taylor fired wide from range, George Miller hit the bar with a volley and Archer shot over, but they couldn’t find a way through and it ended 3-0 to Bromley.
The result sees Andy Woodman’s men finish their historic season eleventh place in the League Two table with 66 points.
