Bromley virtually secured their spot in the play offs with an injury time winner over a spirited Weston side who will feel hard done by to have left Hayes Lane empty handed.
Mark Goldberg rang the changes for this game, but despite The Ravens having more possession Weston created the best chances early on with Bret Trowbridge, Syd Camper and Ashley Kington all going close.
Bromley didn’t really create anything worthwhile until late in the half when Bradley Goldberg forced a saved from Lloyd Irish and then curled another shot just over the bar, while Jake Reid shot over from a tight angle as it ended all square.
The second half saw The Ravens come out flying and they went in front on 50 minutes when Jamie Laird brought down Goldberg who dusted himself down and tucked away the penalty low into the bottom corner.
Both sides created good chances as the half went on, Joe Welch made a great save from Kington, while Louis Dennis, Reid, Rob Swaine and Goldberg all went close for the home side.
The Seagulls equalised against the run of play on 77 minutes when Dayle Grubb made a surging run into the box and coolly slotted his shot past Welch.
Bromley came back fighting and pressed for a winner late on, Jay May missed three great chances inside the box before finally finding his touch to win the game in injury time when he converted Dennis’ perfect cross from close range for a vital win.
