Despite playing with ten men for over an hour Bromley held on to secure another three points and maintain their lead at the top of the table.
Back playing at Hayes Lane after a month of inaction The Ravens started slowly and Boreham Wood had a spell of pressure with a series of corners.
On their first attack though it was the home side who took the lead when Bradley Goldberg broke clear and finished well past James Russell for 1-0 on 12 minutes.
Five minutes later Bromley were 2-0 up when Pierre Joseph-Dubois converted a corner with a low drive just inside the box.
A dual between Rob Swaine and Kudus Oyenga saw both players reprimanded for fouls before Swaine saw red on 24 minutes after an innocuous trip on the visitors’ striker.
The game became increasingly bad tempered with several yellow cards shown with Boreham Wood captain Charlie O’Loughlin at the centre of it all.
Late in the half Ali Fuseini went close for Bromley while Oyenga forced a save from Joe Welch.
The second half was tale of total dominance for the visitors. Callum Reynolds missed a glorious opportunity to pull one back when he scuffed the ball over the bar from a yard out, Oyenga went close and Graeme Montgomery had a goalbound shot deflected over.
With Bromley sitting ever deeper Boreham Wood pulled a goal back on 70 minutes when Luke Garrard scored with a low drive from the edge of the box.
With the visitors now camped in the Bromley half Mark Goldberg’s men were limited to a very occasional break up field with Albert Jarrett going close with a couple of chances.
Sam Cox, Matty Wichelow and James Courtnage all went close for Boreham Wood, but Bromley held out despite one final shot from Junior Morias which kicked up off the turf and bounced narrowly wide seconds before the final whistle.
