Bromley picked up their third League Two win in a row with a comfortable controlled victory over a toothless Harrogate Town at Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon.

With Danny Imray missing out due to injury, Andy Woodman changed the shape of the team and handed Harry McKirdy his debut in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
The Ravens made a positive start to the game pressing down either wing, but Harrogate did come back into things, although they were kept at bay by the solid home defence.
The first real chance fell to Bromley, when Ben Fox fouled Michael Cheek on the edge of the area and Adam Mayor hit the top of the bar with his free kick.
Harrogate then had another good spell, Ellis Taylor having shot deflected to Warren Burrell who fired over and Anthony O’Connor then fired wide.
After scrappy spell with plenty of turnovers in possession and the referee happy to let the physical side go, it was The Ravens who struck on the half hour when Ben Thompson crossed from the left and Cheek headed home his sixteenth goal of the season for 1-0.

McKirdy then had a shot deflected wide, before the visitors went close twice with Bryn Morris shooting wide and Taylor forcing a good save from Grant Smith.
Then just as the half was coming to a close, Bromley effectively killed the game off when Cameron Congreve crossed from the left to the back post and Cheek headed the ball back across goal for Jude Arthurs to convert from close range and make it 2-0 at the break.
The second half saw Harrogate start trying to be positive, but Bromley kept them at arms length and were never really troubled. McKirdy was forced off with injury after only 55 minutes, but the home side had the luxury of replacing him with Corey Whitely.
By the hour mark the travelling support had turned on their manager Simon Weaver, frustrated at their teams performance and in truth Bromley cantered to a win.
Mayor had a shot saved by James Belshaw in a half of little incident and The Ravens kept their third consecutive clean sheet in the process. Nicke Kabamba and Brooklyn Ilunga got valuable minutes for Andy Woodman’s team, with the busy fixtures schedule ahead.
Bromley move up to tenth in the League Two table ahead of their home game with Bradford City on Tuesday night.
