Bromley slipped further into relegation trouble with another disappointing home performance against play off chasing Farnborough.
The visitors started the game on tip with Dave Tarpey forcing a save from Joe Welch and Alan Inns heading wide. They went in front on 11 minutes when Tarpey had a shot saved but from the resulting corner Josh Huggings headed home.
It took twenty minutes for Bromley to even offer an attack and they did eventually have a good spell with Ali Fuseini, Danny Waldren and Joe Piggott going close.
Louie Theophanous was also unlucky to have a goal ruled out for offside, before Farnborough extended their lead on the half hour when Nic Ciardini converted from close range after some awful defending.
Dan Bennett and Tarpey went close again before the break with debutant Solomon Taiwo being denied by Craig Bradshaw at the other end.
The second half saw Bromley start brighter, but Farnborough held out and made it 3-0 on 59 minutes when Tarpey scored a fine individual goal after a strong run.
The stunned home side rallied and pulled one back on 64 minutes when Fusieni turned in a goalmouth scramble and they should have had a second when Theophanous somehow missed from close range after Pierre Joseph-Dubois had hit the post.
Theophanous went close again before Bradshaw made great saves from Dubois & Ali Chaaban as The Ravens pushed but could find no further way through.
