Bromley 1-1 Truro City
Bromley 1-1 Truro City

Although Bromley made it sixteen games without a win there were definite signs of improvement for Mark Goldberg’s men as they had the best of this game, but ultimately failed to take their chances.

The Ravens got off to a positive start and looked solid with Orlando Smith & Pierre-Joseph Dubois both going close. The home side had a couple of good shouts for penalties turned down and Gareth Williams also shot wide before Truro took the lead with a rare attack on 44 minutes.

A clumsy Liam Harwood foul set up a free kick which was headed home by Andy Watkins unmarked at the near post.

The second half was more even with both sides having spells on top, Gareth Williams missed a couple of great chances to equalise for Bromley before they finally drew level just after the hour.

Dubois broke free from his own half and out paced the Truro defence before coolly slotting the ball under Tom Brooks to make it 1-1.

Dubois went close again soon after, but the momentum The Ravens had built faded and Truro also missed chances to win the game with Watkins having and effort saved and Jake Ash firing over from close range.
