Bromley 1-1 Farnborough
Bromley 1-1 Farnborough

Bromley dropped into the bottom three after they failed to win at home again this season and in the end were fortunate to take a point from this game as Farnborough put on a strong second half display.

Bromley started well and went in front on 15minutes when Pierre Joseph-Dubois converted an Albert Jarrett cross volleying the ball into the ground and over Jake Somerville.

The game then saw both sides create chances with Doug Bergqvist & Jed Wallace going close for the visitors and Michael Malcolm having one header saved and another sail just over for The Ravens, both after good work by Albert Jarrett. Wallace went close again for the visitors just before the break, but The Ravens held on to their lead.

The second half saw Bromley fail to get going and Farnborough do most of the attacking. They were rewarded on 62minutes when Tutu Henriques was punished for a handball in the box and Phillip Page blasted home the penalty.

The Ravens knew their luck was out soon after when Orlando Smith’s shot hit team mate Moses Swaibu on the line deflecting onto the bar and away.

Then in injury time Farnborough could have won it when Michael Charles had a powerful effort palmed away by Joe Welch to at least preserve a point for Mark Goldberg’s side.
