It was honours even as two Play off challengers battled out a hard fought draw at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night as Bromley met Dagenham & Redbridge.
Andy Woodman made one change ahead of the game with Omar Sowunmi coming in for Callum Reynolds at the back, keeping the 4-4-1-1 shape.
The match got off to an open start with Harry Phipps heading over for The Daggers from a corner, before at the other end Corey Whitely played in Harry Forster, but the Bromley winger slipped when one on one with the keeper.
After both sides had good spells the visitors took the initiative, Junior Morais headed into the side netting from a Myles Weston cross, before Dean Rance fired just over from 25 yards.
The Daggers pressure paid off when they took the lead on 36 minutes, Byron Webster was judged to have fouled Morais out wide and Joshua Hare’s free kick managed to evade everyone in the box and it skimmed across the area and inside the far post for 0-1.
The Ravens rallied from then and finished the half on top, James Vennings hitting the side netting from a narrow angle.
The second half saw Bromley continue to press, Vennings had a shot saved by Elliot Justham early on and The Ravens went on to have lots of possession, but struggle to break the Dagenham defence down.
Josh Walker was one of four Dagenham players booked, catching Webster with a very late challenge as the defender cleared his lines.
The Daggers seemed happy to sit deep and let Bromley play in front of them, with the occasional break up field. On one of these Walker forced a save from Reice Charles-Cook a low down at his near post.
Woodman switched to 4-4-2 with the introduction of Adam Marriot and then Mitchel Bergkamp, but it looked like there would be no way through for Bromley.
Sowunmi and Walker collided late on and there was a lengthy delay as both players required treatment.
With three minutes to go The Ravens finally found a way through, a cross from the left caused a scramble in the box and when the ball came out to Ben Krauhaus the youngster crashed the ball home for 1-1.
Buoyed by the goal Bromley pressed again, Krauhaus forced a save from Justham before Marriot headed home from close range, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
In five minutes of injury time Hare had a free kick saved by Chares-Cook, while Bromley went close through Louis Dennis and then he turned provider crossing for Marriot whose header was saved by Justham to keep the scores level, which was probably a fair result.
Bromley move up to sixth with this point ahead of their trip to Scunthorpe Utd on Saturday.
