Bromley 1-0 Harrow Borough
Bromley 1-0 Harrow Borough

Bromley progressed to the Quarter Finals of the London Senior Cup thanks to a superb Elliott Buchanan goal in front of well under 100 fans at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night.

The Ravens got off to a positive start with a series of corners, but Harrow had the best chance when George Howard saved from Rob Wolleaston.

The home side carried on having the best of things and went in front on 13 mins when Buchanan picked the ball up 25 yards out and curled in a sublime effort into the top corner of the net.

The game then drifted until Michael Malcolm went close twice and Ali Chaaban fired over late on in the half.

The second half saw Harrow take the initiative, but they lacked the cutting edge in the final third. Harry Harding brought a fine save out of Elviss Putnins for the home team, but then the visitors had their best spell with Ruddock Yala shooting wide when well placed after Howard had fumbled a cross.

Alwyne Jones and Yassine Fehmi-Gil also went close, before they missed their best chance when Nicolai Tararov beat Howard only for Jerome Sobers to clear the goal bound effort.

Moses Swaibu missed a good chance for the home side, but one goal proved to be enough for The Ravens to go through.
