Bromley 1-0 Dartford
Bromley 1-0 Dartford

A solitary Jay May goal on the hour was enough to give Bromley a victory over their Conference Premier neighbours in a game that saw both sides dominate a half each.Bromley

Dartford started much the stronger with several early chances, their best opportunity coming when Lee Noble was denied by George Howard.

Bromley rarely broke out of defence, but managed to go into the break level and nearly took an unlikely lead when Elliott Buchanan’s free kick was tipped round the post by Alan Julian.

The second half was a different story with winger Brendan Kiernan providing a much needed attacking impetus for The Ravens.

Steve Smith and Warren McBean both went close before Kiernan and McBean combined to set up May for the winning goal against his old club, beating  Julian from close range.

Lawri Azeez had The Darts best chance but his effort was well saved by Howard.

Late on Jack Holland went close with a header for Bromley but a single goal was enough to settle the match.
