Bromley suffered a night to forget on at Hayes Lane Wednesday night as they were comfortably beaten by an in form Woking side with two second half goals.
The game got off to an open start with play going from end to end, Michael Cheek & Harry Forster put early chances wide for Bromley, while Josh Casey went close for Woking.
Padraig Amond hit the crossbar from a right angle for the visitors after finding a huge amount of space in the area. Jermaine Anderson then fired wide for The Cards as both sides had spells of pressure.
At the other end Omar Sowunmi crossed for Cheek who put the ball just the wrong side of the near post. Forster who was the most creative player for The Ravens then set up Billy Bingham who fired over from the edge of the area.
With the game wide open, Casey crossed for Amond whose header was saved by Tom Smith low down at the far post.
Right at the end of the half Ethan Coleman, who was playing just behind Cheek, had an effort saved by Cards keeper Craig Ross.
The second half saw Woking start the more positive, but Bromley then came back into things with Reece Hannam firing wide from a narrow angle.
Heading towards the hour the visitors pressed again with a series of corners and they eventually converted one when Reece Grego-Cox turned the ball home in a crowded six yard box for 1-0 to Woking.
Bromley manager Andy Woodman then rang the chances and took off Forster who had been the best player for The Ravens to that point.
Briefly Bromley pressed, Corey Whitely crossed for Coleman whose header was tipped wide by Ross.
A long throw from Chris Bush was headed over by Sowunmi, before their best chance came when Cheek was denied by Ross in the area and Adam Marriott saw his shot from the rebound turned wide for a corner.
From there though Woking killed the game off when Grego-Cox cashed in on some poor defending, ran clear of the home defence and drew Smith out of his goal, before squaring the ball to Rhys Browne who rolled the ball into the net with Byron Webster fluffing his clearance attempt on the line as he chased back.
For the final fifteen minutes Bromley chose to try and play the ball out of defence and ended up giving the ball away on numerous occassions as Woking comfortably saw the game out.
Bromley are now tenth in the National League, without a win in seven games, looking to regroup ahead of their home game with Halifax Town on Saturday.
