An absolutely toothless display from Bromley, failing to register a single effort on target, saw them surrender to a struggling Eastbourne side who were desperate for the points and showed the hunger and desire that the home side severely lacked.
The Ravens got off to a lively start with Louie Theophanous firing just wide, but they were dealt a massive blow on 15 minutes when top scorer Pierre Joseph-Dubois had to be carried off following a terrible challenge by Matt Aldred.
Bromley lost all momentum from that point and the game drifted all the way to half time.
The second half saw Eastbourne show more attacking impetus and they went in front on 52 minutes when Ben Adelsbury headed home a free kick past static home defence.
Borough dominated the play with Jonte Smith and Elliott Charles going close before they made it 2-0 on 77 minutes when a poor clearance by Helge Orome was driven straight into the roof of the net from distance by Simon Johnson.
The visitors comfortably saw out the game without any incident with The Ravens looking lost and lacking belief and missing the influence of recently departed captain Ali Fuseini who signed for Sutton on Thursday.
