Bromley suffered their third defeat in a row as they were comprehensively outclassed by a Dover side who played the second half on cruise control taking Ricky Miller off just after the hour.
The game started with both sides creating early chances, Lee Minshull put a header wide for Bromley while Jim Stevenson volleyed wide at the other end.
Dover had a series of corners, which Bromley managed to repel while Rob Swaine headed a Dave martin free kick wide for the home side.
The opening goal came on 24 minutes when a slick passing move from The Whites opened up the home defence letting in Miller who slipped the ball under Alan Julian to make it 1-0.
Before Bromley could re-group Athletic were two up when Jack Holland was out muscled by Ross Lafayette who then powerfully finished past Julian from a tight angle.
The Ravens then responded with a decent spell of their own, Tobi Sho-Silva hit a fantastic goal bound shot from the edge of the box which Mitch Walker did brilliantly to tip round the post.
Joe Anderson hit a long range effort wide soon after, but it was the visitors who finished the half stronger, Jack Parkinson heading over from a corner and Miller hitting the post with a fantastic volley from a deep Stevenson cross.
Bromley started the second half looking more positive, but they failed to turn more possession into clear chances, struggling to cope with the 4-3-3 formation that left gaps in midfield.
Miller created the first chance of the half for Dover when he broke up field and chipped the ball just over the bar.
Soon after Miller again was denied by Julian and he then put another chance wide when Swaine slipped on the edge of his own box.
Miller was then replaced by former Bromley winger Mitchell Pinnock as the game went through a quiet spell, with only a tame Adam Cunnington shot to speak of.
The game then only really came to life in the final few minutes when Dan Johnson was sent off for a second yellow which somehow sparked a mini Raven revival.
Martin had a free kick tipped over by Walker, then Brad Goldberg had a flicked header from a corner cleared off the line by Parkinson before the striker had a another shot blocked at the near post.
In injury time Conor Dymond hit a powerful drive from 20 yards, but Parkinson was again on hand to head the ball away from danger.
Bromley now have to regroup and look to pick up something at North Ferriby United on Saturday to keep away from the relegation zone, while Chris Kinnear’s side continued their fine run of form.
