Brighton & HA v Charlton Ath Preview

Charlton travel to the Amex this evening for one of the most eagerly awaited games of the season.Brighton

Those who like to visit new grounds will find this as possibly the starkest contrast of all. The Withdean was an awful ground with the view from the away end probably the worst in the country. The Amex ia a state-of-the-art arena which visiting fans enjoy.

Ricardo Fuller put his shoulder out in Saturday’s thrilling win against Bolton but will be available for Chris Powell tonight.

The change that Powell may consider is starting Mark Gower alongside Johnnie Jackson in the centre of midfield. Dale Stephens and Matt Taylor were illness victims on Saturday but could be fit enough for the bench.

Brighton will want to cement a place in the play-offs and recently brought in Simeon Jackson to cover for the injured Craig Mackail-Smith.

The Addicks could look like this:

Hamer; Solly, Dervite, Morrison, Wiggins; Pritchard, Gower, Jackson, Harriott; Kermorgant, Fuller.

Subs: Button, Taylor, Wilson, Stephens, Hughes, Haynes, Obika.

Mick Russell from Hertfordshire will be the referee.

A tough game beckons and Powell will be pleased if his team can get any sort of a result.
