Dartford have confirmed the departure of striker Harvey Bradbury to National League South side Farnborough for an undisclosed fee.
The Club’s statement read: “After an approach from Farnborough, we have agreed to the transfer of Harvey Bradbury with immediate effect.”
“We wish Harvey all the best for the future and thank him for the hard work since he joined us.”
Bradbury’s exit follows that of former manager Alan Dowson, who signed the 25-year-old on loan from Dorchester Town during the last campaign, before tying him down on a permanent basis ahead of this season. The Club have previously rejected an offer for Bradbury from an Irish Premiership team, believed to have been Glentoran, which Dowson stated at the time to be worth “a few grand”.
The striker netted eleven goals for Dartford, with his most noteworthy being an audacious lobbed finish over St Albans City goalkeeper Dylan Berry in the Playoff Semifinal. He also notably scored a 95th minute when the Darts played away to Aveley this season, which secured the first three points of the season.
Bradbury moves 60 miles west to play for Spencer Day’s side at the BR Saunders Transport Community Stadium. Farnborough sit one position ahead of Dartford, separated by just two points in 14th and 15th.
