Bracknell Hornets 2-5 Invicta Dynamos

The Invicta Dynamos played out the third period without a regular netminder to record a 5-2 victory at Bracknell Hornets on Saturday night.Jack Tarczycki3

Jack Tarczycki took over the netminder duties for the final period after Andy Moffat was injured, getting struck by a puck on his knee late on in the second period.

By that point, the Dynamos has already raced into a comfortable 5-1 lead with Andy Smith scoring twice with Tarczycki, Aaron Strawson and Justin Noble all on target for Kevin Parrish’s side.

Tarczycki rightly took the Man of the Match awards for an outstanding display, conceding just the once in the extended final period to take the two points back to Kent.

The victory sees the Dynamos sit comfortably fourth in the National Ice Hockey League South with the Wightlink Raiders to come to the Silver Blades Ice Bowl in Gillingham on Sunday night.

Face off is at 5:15pm with more information available from www.invictadynamos.co.uk
