After Tuesday night’s defeat at home to Maidenhead, Bromley are back in National League action on Saturday when they travel to Boreham Wood.
The Ravens 3-2 defeat ended an impressive run of results for Neil Smith’s side , but they still sit eighth in the table, one point and one place ahead of Boreham Wood.
Wood are unbeaten in six, drawing 0-0 at resurgent Guiseley in midweek.
Bromley were without the injured Roger Johnson on Tuesday and will also be without George Porter on Saturday following his late red card against Maidenhead. A big blow for the forward line, with Brett Williams also sitting the game out in midweek.
When the two sides met at Meadow Park last Spring the game ended scoreless and in the reverse fixture Bromley ran out 1-0 winners, so another tight game can be expected.
A good number supporters should make the relatively short journey up to Hertfordshire to give their backing to The Ravens for this one. In the last couple of seasons they have outnumbered the home fans.
