The Gills are back in action on Monday evening as they travel to Bolton for their latest SkyBet League One league match, live in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Justin Edinburgh and his side will be full of confidence going into their latest away game, having won three out of four games in November, form that they will be hoping to continue coming into the busy festive period.
There is good news for Edinburgh on the injury front with only two players likely to be missing from the squad, with Billy Knott and Bradley Garmston set to be on the sidelines for a little while longer.
Although the game is likely to come a bit to early for Chris Herd and Jonathan Bond, as they step up their training ahead of a return to the squad before the weekend action gets underway.
Bolton are a strong side in League One, just four points off the top of the league following their relegation from the Championship last season. Phil Parkinson and his side like the Gills are in good form and have won eight of their last nine games, and have six wins and three draws at home this weekend.
Believe it or not the two sides haven’t met for 13 years, and it is the first league meeting between the two sides for 15 years. The Gills haven’t beaten Bolton since 1987, some 29 years ago.
