It was a busy but fun time at the Autosport show last week. Whilst at the show, I was approached by a media team called Downforce Radio.
They spoke to me about becoming one of their ten chosen drivers who will be followed throughout 2015. Of course I jumped at the chance, as I had already been involved with Downforce before, which really helped give me extra media exposer.
Downforce introduced five of the chosen drivers on the FKS stage where we were all interviewed about our future plans. It was really great to listen to the stories and plans of the other drivers that are with Downforce for 2015.
With all of us completing in different series, and some of them racing in classes that I have never really thought about before now, they are all very talented drivers in their field.
I look forward to looking out for their names in the future, especially little Olly Turner who was trembling with nerves before going on, as it was obviously his first on-stage interview. You did great, well-done Olly! (It isn’t easy).
This week, there is only one thing I can think about, that is getting back out in the car for the first time this year.
Next week I am traveling back out to India for the last and final round of the MRF Challenge. Last time I was at this circuit I loved it! (Think of it as the Fulbeck of car circuits). It is such a great track to race and the atmosphere was brilliant, plus, it will also be great to be back in some heat!
My new helmet will be making its first appearance in Chennai along with some cool new gadgets I have been given by the company Veho.
Hopefully I will be able to grab some good onboard footage from these cameras for my website.
Looking to get some great results and coming back with some new trophies.
Until next time J
