There’s a full schedule of non-league football this weekend with potential crackers up and down the footballing pyramid.
With only three months remaining in the season there is still plenty to fight for in the National League playoffs.
Both Bromley and Dover sit outside the top seven positions by one point. They could both push into the playoff places on Saturday with Chris Kinnear’s side playing at Solihull Moors and the North Kent club making the long trip to fellow playoff chasing club Tranmere.
After beating Solihull 1-0 last weekend, Ebbsfleet United sit just one place below their fellow South East sides. Daryl McMahon and his team are also on the road on Saturday afternoon. They’ll be travelling to Yorkshire to face Halifax Town.
The final local side in top flight action this weekend are Maidstone United. The Stones remain in the county on Saturday when they welcome Barrow to the Gallagher Stadium.
Dartford are looking to joining those four sides in the top level next season. They currently lead the National League South and could extend their lead with three points at Wealdstone next week.
Also in the Southern section of the sixth tier of English football, Welling look set to end the season with a mid-table position. Their playoff hopes aren’t over however, and a win at home to St Albans on Saturday could change their season.
There are local sides looking to gain promotion across the divisions this season, and that is no different in the Bostik Premier. Both Margate and Folkstone Invicta occupy playoff positions and they will look to solidify their positions this weekend against Burgess Hill when they travel to Thanet and Wingate and Finchley further South down the coast.
Elsewhere in the league, Tonbridge Angels travel to Merstham knowing they’re likely to end the season in the mid table positions.
There are only two all- Kent fixtures in the Bostik South this weekend. Ashford United travel to the north of the county to face Thamesmead Town with neither team really in any fight for promotion or relegation whilst Ramsgate make the short trip out of Thanet to play Herne Bay.
High flyers Cray Wanderers welcome Carshalton to Hayes Lane on Saturday whilst playoff chasing Hythe Town make the trip to Sussex to face Hastings.
Elsewhere Faversham and Sittingbourne are both at home to Whyteleafe and East Grinstead respectively, Phoenix Sports travel to Horsham whilst VCD host Guernsey in the final piece of action from the top four non-league divisions this weekend.
