Bearsted keep their Wembley dream alive with a dramatic victory over Epsom & Ewell on penalties, after the game finished all square in normal time.

The game was dominated by Bearsted from minute one to the end of the game, in the 10^th minute Jordan Tingley was put in on goal and from 15 yards his shot was saved by Harvey Keogh.

Then three minutes later Omotunmise  Akanni  saw his low cross into the area find Joel Wakefield but from 15 yards he blazed his shot over the bar.

In the 23^rd minute Tingley was put through again, he beat the advancing Hough and his goal bound lob was cleared by the retreating defence.

Bearsted were now bossing the game the only thing missing was a goal, in the 40^th minute that goal nearly came when Will Johnson-Cole on the left beat the defender, his low cross was deflected over the bar. From the resulting corner Ryan Blake saw his free header from eight yards go just wide of the post.

Half time arrived and Epsom’s manager would have been relieved his team were still in the game while Keith Stevens would want his side to be more clinical.

The second half started with Epsom showing a little more, but it was Bearsted who took the lead, in the 55^th minute Johnson-Cole passed to Ollie Freeman in the area, his low cross shot was knocked into the net from three yards by Tingley.

In the 60^th minute a long diagonal pass found Callum McCarthy, his cross from the by-line found Johnson-Cole but his first time shot from 15 yards went high and wide.

Six minutes later Johnson-Cole cut inside and laid the ball to Akanni but his shot from 20 yards went over the bar. In the 70^th minute Epsom equalised when the ball on the right was eventually crossed and found Thompsom Adejeyi who from 15 yards shot home against the run of play.

The rest of the game saw Bearsted try to get the winner but to no avail, so the final whistle went and onwards to a penalty shoot out.
