Kent Kings’ Danny Ayres is preparing for his second season at the speedway club after securing the support of backers and another two sponsors.
The rider from Suffolk was able to perform well enough in 2014 to attract new sponsorship deals to ensure himself and the club are able to continue to progress as the club looks towards its third season in the sport.
“I have two new sponsors. Barbara & Peter Mills have been hugely generous in their backing and I just can’t thank them enough for their support – they are fantastic backers of me and of the club and it’s hugely appreciated”.
The second sponsors are already well known to Kings fans, CTA Fire, who served as the clubs main sponsors in their first two years have agreed a deal with Ayres.
“I’m very excited about the new deal with CTA Fire. This promises a really bright future and I’m proud to have them on side with me as major sponsors. I’m looking forward to our partnership and doing, via my racing, all I can do to raise the profile of CTA Fire.”
Danny Ayres was the club’s standout racer in his first season in the sport and his improvement throughout the season both at home and away have helped him to secure these deals and he hopes that with this backing he will be able to keep improving.
“Thanks to this extra support I have been able to purchase a brand new engine from Sean Wilson Racing and also a rolling chassis. So that’s my new number one bike sorted for the forthcoming campaign”.
Danny, who will next be in action racing in the New Year Classic at Scunthorpe Speedway on 4th. January also sends out his thanks at this end of year point to those backers who supported him in 2014 and are continuing with their invaluable backing,
“I’d like to thank for their much valued continuing support, Sean Wilson Racing, Action Wheels, Tony Petchell; Danger UK with their super light covers; Anthony ‘Pugsley’ Fagg and, of course, Sylvia & Brain Philpott who have really been like grand-parents to me with their love and support.”
The 2015 National League is already building up with teams beginning to announce their teams for the start of the season in March.
