The Medway Assassins have announced that they have received some generous sponsorship from Japanese car sales ‘County Cars of Strood’.
Team Manager, Doug Laming, said: “We are extremely grateful for the generosity shown to us by County Cars of Strood which will help us buy additional kit ahead of the new season.”
The Medway Assassins, who are also sponsored by Medway Laser Tag are about to start their first full season in the SESHA (South East Skater Hockey Association) leagues and due to successful recruitment they will be entering teams in both the Peewee (under 12’s) and Youth (under 15’s) leagues, battling against other teams from he South East of England.
Head Coach Barry Smith, has been working hard throughout the winter, preparing the teams for the season ahead which commences next month.
He has high hopes for his rookie team: “We have recruited players at both ends of the age groups, and our club now has players between 5 and 13 years of age.
“All the players have shown grit and determination and are excited by the prospect of starting the new season, for which I have high hopes.”
