Former Charlton midfielder, Harry Arter, is being linked with a move to either Norwich or Swansea.Harry Arter

Arter made just one senior appearance for the Addicks, when he came on as a substitute in a League Cup game at Luton.

Arter has flourished since his move to Bournemouth and he has been further rejuvenated since Eddie Howe returned to the Cherries for a second spell in charge earlier in the season.

Former Addicks manager, Phil Parkinson, led Bradford City to victory in the League Two Play-Off Final at Wembley on Saturday. Goals from Hanson, McArdle and Wells gave the Bantams a three goal lead inside the first half hour.

That effectively ended the game as a contest and gave Parkinson sweet revenge for the 5-0 Capital One Cup Final defeat he suffered at the hands of Swansea twelve weeks ago.

Yeovil sealed their place in next season’s Championship when they beat Brentford 2-1 in Sunday’s League One Play-Off Final.

Goals from Madden and Burn put the Glovers 2-0 up at the interval and despite Dean pulling one back in the second period, Brentford were unable to find an equaliser.

Gary Johnson has worked wonders since his return to Huish Park. Johnson enjoyed great success at Yeovil in his first spell in charge, when he led them into the League and won promotion to League One.

His efforts attracted the attention of Bristol City, who he also got promoted to the Championship. Against all odds, Johnson took the Robins to a Play-Off Final and was only denied promotion to the Premier League by Hull’s narrow victory.
