Charlton are expecting a busy June, ahead of the players returning to pre-season training at the end of the month.
Fifteen players have already been released, with one or two contracted players likely to move on during the summer as well.
George Tucudean will be on loan for the entire 2015/16 season, while Reza Ghoochannejhad, Loic Nego and Piotr Parzyszekare unlikely to return to The Valley after their loan deals expire.
Plenty of players to recruit then, and though it is unlikely that any deals will be finalised before next month, it has been very quiet on the rumour front.
Brighton’s Lewis Dunk has been mentioned but we understand that he will be joining Derby.
Sky’s Soccer AM programme presenter, Helen Chamberlain, suggested on Saturday that the Addicks were interested in Josh Windass.
Windass, who is the son of much travelled striker Dean Windass, is a 21-year-old attacking midfielder.
Windass came through Huddersfield’s academy but never made a senior appearance for the Terriers.
He moved to Accrington in the summer of 2013 and made 11 appearances for Stanley in his debut season.
Windass made great strides during the 2014/15 season, making 40 appearances in all competitions, with a haul of six goals.
He meets Charlton’s preference for young, improving players, albeit he would probably appear initially for Jason Euell’s Under-21 side.
The deal looks possible more than probable but the rumours will gather pace in the next week or two.
