Franck Moussa and Ricardo Vaz Te had their contracts at The Valley terminated by mutual consent on Monday.

The duo are now free agents and able to sign for new clubs outside of the window.

Moussa’s time at Charlton has been ravaged by injuries, and it did not help that in less than two years he has worked under four different head coaches.

Moussa was never able to get a regular run in the team, so the Valley faithful never saw him at his best.

26-year-old Mouusa made nine starts in all competitions for the Addicks, plus a further fourteen appearances from the bench, scoring one goal.

Ricardo Vaz Te has a good Championship pedigree, but failed to show his best form during his brief time with the Addicks. The 29-year-old made eight starts and four substitute appearances for Charlton, but failed to score.

Jose Riga added two new faces to his squad on Monday evening.

Arsenal’s 23-year-old French striker, Yaya Sanogo, has joined on loan until the end of the season. Sanogo will be hoping he has better fortune than on his last stay in South London.

He was on loan at Crystal Palace last season, but failed to score in ten Premier League outings for the Eagles.

He has been on loan at Ajax this season but has, again, failed to find the back of the net.

Former French international right sided defender, Rod Fanni, also comes in on loan until the end of the season.

Fanni is 34-years-old and has been playing in Qatar for Al-Arabi SC.

He can play as a central defender but is more commonly known as a right-back.

Both clubs are likely to go straight into the squad for Saturday’s match with Bristol City at The Valley.

The Addicks Under-21 team extended their unbeaten run to 17 on Monday. They came from behind to win 2-1 at Crystal Palace, thanks to goals from Joe Aribo and Josh Umerah.

Former Brentford striker, Morrell Moore, played as a trialist for Charlton. Time will tell if Moore is offered a contract by the Addicks.
