Steve Arnold has agreed, along with Gillingham, to terminate his contract at MEMS Priestfield Stadium with immediate effect.
The goalkeeper, 28, made two appearances for the Gills after signing a one-year deal in August of 2017.
Both of those came in the Checkatrade Trophy, impressing at home against Southend United (2-1) before keeping a clean sheet against Colchester in October (0-1).
He also featured in the penalty shoot-out victory against Phoenix Sports in the Kent Senior Cup.
The club thanked Arnold in their press statement:
“The club would like to thank Steve for his services while at Priestfield and we wish him well for the future.”
