Continuing the unwanted theme of early season ‘rain offs’, Kent SLYDE KIngs’ visit to Birmingham due for tomorrow (4/4) has joined the long list of Easter Speedway postponements with the Perry Barr track in unsuitable condition after the battering the elements dished out over the long weekend and yet more rain forecast for Wednesday.
However, the Birmingham club have moved swiftly to rearrange this Easter Cup fixture for Wednesday 25th. April and the competition is back to being a two legged affair, with Kent’s opening fixture at Central Park Stadium on 30th. April now changing from the Kent All-Time Greats match to being the second leg of this much-anticipated early season competition. The All-Time Greats celebration event will be rearranged for later in the season.
