Holcombe Hockey Club have this afternoon announced that England and Great Britain captain David Ames has signed a contract extension to remain with the club.

Ames, who will take part in this month’s EuroHockey Championships in Germany, returned to the club last season.

He also acted as Assistant Coach to Barry Middleton as our Men’s 1s secured their return to European hockey with a second-placed finish at League Finals weekend.
