The Addicks beat Luton Town 4-0 in an Under-21 friendly match at Sparrows Lane on Tuesday afternoon.

Jordan Cook, sidelined with an eye ulcer recently, returned to set up the first two goals for Ade Azeez and Ruben Bover. The Addicks led 2-0 at the interval and added a further two goals in the second half.

Bradley Jordan cracked the third home from the edge of the area and substitute, Joe Pigott, completed the scoring following good work from Callum Harriott.

Nick Pope, another who has been out with injury, played in goal and completed the 90 minutes. Charlton took the opportunity to look at an experienced defender who made a number of appearances in the Premier League last season.

Nathan Jones would have been pleased with his side’s performance.
