The Addicks drew 3-3 with QPR at their Harlington training ground on Monday afternoon.
Rangers included Shaun Wright-Phillips, Nico Kranjcar and Junior Hoilett in a strong team.
Rangers went ahead after just four minutes when Ryan Manning headed home a Kranjcar corner.
Charlton levelled after a quarter-of-an-hour after the keeper failed to hold a Harry Gerard free-kick. Karlan Ahearne-Grant was on hand to tap the loose ball home.
The hosts regained the lead five minutes after the interval. Reece Greco-Cox latched on to a Hoilett pass to fire past Dillon Phillips.
The Addicks showed resolve to draw level, then go ahead, thanks to a brace from Mikhail Kennedy. The Irish striker ran through on the hour mark to beat Joe Lumley and added his second in the last minute.
Unfortunately for the visitors, there was still time for Greco-Cox to convert a stoppage time penalty to make it 3-3.

The Crossbars season ticket experiment, costing an additional £230 for Upper North Stand patrons, flopped this season with less than a hundred tickets being sold.
The club will use the facility as a fans bar for the 2015/16 season, with admission being free for all supporters.
One player who did not feature in Monday’s game at Harlington was Jack Munns. Munns has been released by the club and could be offered a deal at Notts County.
Tickets for the visit to Hillsborough next month are now on sale from The Valley, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
Sheffield Wednesday have priced the game imaginatively and it will hopefully encourage more Charlton fans to travel. The game will be played on Saturday 11 April.
